   CHANGES IN THE GARBAGE COLLECTION PROCESS

              IN THE LA CHOLLA COMMUNITY       

Recently the city of Puerto Penasco has notified the HOA that we will not be able to pick up trash in the community nor able to use the city dump.   The HOA and the City of Penasco, with the help of Gus Brown and the team at SBR, have reached an agreement to proceed with the City servicing the community of La Cholla in removing the garbage. All contracts for removal will be made with each homeowner, not the HOA. All collection areas maintained by the HOA will be closed immediately. The city is now picking up garbage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for free until the end of May. All homeowners are encouraged to sign up for the service.

On Tuesday, May 12th at 10:00 AM at the clubhouse, The Director of OOMISLIM office came out to discuss the plan, how they will implement the plan, options for payment, and then signed up those that desire to start garbage pick up at this time. The rate is $60 pesos per month and can be paid monthly.  If a person signs up for a year, a discount of $120 pesos will be offered , thus $600 pesos per year.

Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM at the clubhouse, OOMSLIM will return and “sign up” homeowners that come down on the weekends or did not make the Tuesday meeting.

Those that cannot make either meeting or will not be down for some time, will be able to go to the OOMISLIM office at their convenience when they return.
