Vecinos and A Coalition Take on the Enemy

Vecinos and A Coalition Take on the Enemy

Our 2nd Annual clean up of Cholla Bay was spearheaded by Heather Green as it was last year. On November 15th the Vecinos and friends of Cholla Bay came together again and IMG 6729walked from Pinto Point to the Estuary. 38 Vecinos helped 11 Students from the University of Arizona, and 11 “young” students from CEDO. Like Schwarzkopk attacking Kuwait in Desert Storm, three groups attacked the flanks and central area of the community of Cholla. The battle was bloodless and no causalities were sustained! Captured were 2 truckloads of garbage ranging from beer bottles to a refrigerator off of Pelican Point!! Bob Dammann stayed close to Command center and took two bags of garbage at the community center “Green Zone” alone. ………………………..Heather>
